After a very disappointing 9-3 loss to Japan and a very tough game against Estonia losing 12-1, Canada was last in the D-pool. We would meet Italy for the 19th place game.
On Monday, Canada played the 13th placed team Hungary. Hungary was a fast and strong team full of good shooters. Canada was able to hold their own for a bit but then Hungary got away on them.
On Sunday was Team Canada’s day off. But we still got up early for walk and then breakfast and soon after a two-hour practice. It was mostly all hard work but there was some fun too. Even a game of shoe ball.
Canada comes into the game prepared and makes it a tough win for the Germans. It was a tough battle and in the end German came out on top, 7-2.
