We may have lost the gold, but we saw the international breakthrough of a floorball star, that many believes will be the future Captain of AIK. Mr Fredrik Djurlings WC record is truly amazing:
- Elected Best Player of the Game, Sweden in the final towards Finland.
- Selected in the All Star Team
- Selected in the Media All Star Team
- Winner of the WC 2008 Scoring and Points League
Last years Stadium Rookie Award nominee Sarah Bergström is the current leader of the points and scoring league in the Swedish Elite Series. 15+26=41. At Salming we are not surprised, good on ya Sarah!

The 2008 Canada Cup Floorball Championship was a huge success with a total of 39 teams taking part in six divisions.
It's time to put your training programs into high gear as the official dates for next years Canada Cup Floorball Championship are now official. North America's largest floorball tournament will take place in Toronto starting Friday, May 15 with a high school division and continue Saturday May 16 to Monday, May 18, 2009 with all other divisions.
Netherland National Team signs 4-year contract with Salming!
