Salming Vikings Canada Cup Champions!

The Salming Vikings defeated the Ottawa Blizzard 9-2 in the finals of the 2010 Canada Cup Floorball Championship Elite Division. The final featured text book floorball from the Vikings who built a 5-0 lead before Ottawa scored two quick goals to bring the game within three. The experienced Vikings squad would respond, scoring four unanswered goals to capture their first Canada Cup championship.

The historical victory is the first ever Canada Cup win for an Ontario based team and the third crown for a Canadian squad. In the bronze medal match, NYC Floorball edged the Czechs SKP Nymburk in a shootout to capture another Canada Cup medal.
