Welcome to season two of Salming Academy. Thank you for all the positive feedback! This year we have some great new educational material for you! To take it to the next level Head Coach Patrik Lönell has teamed up with our famous Salming ambassadors, Mr Fredrik Djurling of AIK and Mr Stefan Flöjt (goalie) of Caperio Täby whom you will see in all the instruction films this season. All films features a speaker voice that thoroughly explains what you see and how to go about it, a feature that we know many of you have asked for.

Salming Acedemy focus on how you as an individual floorball player or goalie can improve your skills. It is not a drill guide for coaches, even though coaches are welcome to get some tips from the Academy as well. It has been, and is, our goal to cover both the basics of the game but also the the highly advanced techniques. Not to mention spreading the message of Floorball to the world. Last season saw 38 different shots, this season we have boiled these shots down to 11 shots. Only the very best and most commonly used shots. Making it easier for you to focus. We have added some great Penalty variations and in addition we have also added Feint School something every Floorball player should master. All of them under the careful supervision of Mr Fredrik Djurling, AIK and the Swedish National Team. The most newsworthy this season is Salming Goalie School. To all you goalie's out there - thank you for being so patient! We have listened to your feedback and brought in the best guy for the job. Salming Goalie School is carefully supervised by Mr Stefan Flöjt who will guide you through the important basics but also the highly advanced techniques of the goalie game. Patrik Lönell started out his floorball career in Sweden in the begining of the 90s, since then he has been a professional player in Switzerland, become a coach and last but not least, the founder and CEO of the reknowned skottskolan.se The latter was concieved during his professional career in Switzerland and has grown to become an authority in the world of floorball. These days Patrik is traveling the globe as Head Coach of Salming Academy, a brand new co-operation that has one clear mission - to enable people around the globe to discover the joy of floorball and how to improve playing the game - shooting in particular.
